At the just-concluded eighth Inner Mongolia Cultural Industry Expo Fair, Hohhot's exhibition area was widely said to have delighted visitors with its rich cultural offerings and innovative displays.

The event was held in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, from Aug 29 to Sept 2.

Titled "A City to See the Northern Border," the Hohhot exhibit highlighted the deep cultural heritage and development of the dynamic city.

Divided into four sections – digital technology, intangible cultural heritage, cultural creativity and camping experiences – the exhibit featured 15 enterprises and over 300 products, showcasing the city's flourishing cultural and tourism industries.

Among the highlights was a display called Qingcheng's 16 Sceneries – a collection of 16 iconic natural and cultural landmarks in Hohhot, telling the city's story in history from ancient times to the present.

The digital technology section offered an immersive experience, presenting Hohhot's museum collections and intangible cultural heritage through cutting-edge digital displays.

Visitors were particularly drawn to the intricately designed cultural products, inspired by Hohhot's landmarks and architecture, vividly showcasing its unique cultural identity.

This vibrant display at the expo was said to underscore Hohhot's role as a cultural hub in Inner Mongolia – reflecting its ongoing commitment to integrating cultural heritage with modern innovation and offering a glimpse into the city's rich past and promising future.
