Ordos celebrates delivery of largest new energy L4 autonomous trucks

In a significant stride towards the future of transportation, Ordos Group in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has recently taken delivery of 100 new energy L4 autonomous trucks, the largest fleet in the region, setting a new benchmark in the industry.

This milestone marks a pivotal moment in the region's commitment to innovative and sustainable logistics solutions.

These trucks, equipped with KargoBot's pioneering navigation systems, are capable of operating in a convoy mode where multiple autonomous trucks follow a lead vehicle staffed with a single safety driver. The trailing vehicles can operate in a fully autonomous state.

In a further testament to the ongoing advancements in autonomous vehicle technology, KargoBot, CIMC Vehicles Group and Shacman have deepened their collaboration, signing a strategic agreement for the production of 1,000 intelligent networked convoy trucks.

This agreement represents the largest order of its kind in the sector to date.
