Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has made several major developments this year, positioning itself as a key player in the low-altitude economy.

On Jan 22, Hohhot Aerospace Economic Development Zone held an investment promotion event where 24 key industrial projects, totaling over 100 billion yuan ($14.1 billion) in investment, were signed. These projects span eight sectors, including aerospace equipment and low-altitude economy.

On April 9, the zone held another signing ceremony in Beijing, securing partnerships with significant projects such as Galactic Energy's new-generation commercial rocket manufacturing base and State Grid's satellite IoT constellation project.

On July 19, the Hohhot Low-Altitude Economy Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park and other key logistics and economic hubs were officially unveiled, marking the start of construction efforts.

With its strategic location and the effects of being a national logistics hub, the city has also introduced key projects in low-altitude airspace management, UAV manufacturing, and low-altitude defense, creating a comprehensive ecosystem.

The park's overall layout includes several specialized bases, zones, and centers, making it a crucial hub for North China's low-altitude economy and aerospace industry. Hohhot is committed to becoming a leader in this emerging sector, injecting new vitality into the region's economic development.
