The Pet Fair Asia 2024 concluded in Pudong New Area, Shanghai on Aug 25. According to official data, this year's fair attracted 124,000 professional visitors, 386,000 pet enthusiasts, and overseas visitors from 91 countries and regions worldwide, comprising approximately 10 percent of the total attendance. This marked the highest number of overseas visitors in the event's history, showing a significant increase of 41.8 percent compared to last year.
As a trendsetter in the Chinese pet industry, this year's expo saw a scale upgrade, reaching new heights with an area exceeding 300,000 square meters.
The event featured the innovative products and cutting-edge achievements of 2,500 exhibitors and brands from around the globe. Strong buyers from both domestic and international markets, driven by robust purchasing power, contributed to the expo's success with growth surpassing expectations.
More than 40 summits and forums, along with over 30 brand launch activities, took place during the expo. A series of new products, technologies, and trends were unveiled, integrating the entire industry chain and establishing the expo as a comprehensive trade and communication platform for the pet industry.
