Baotou Museum commended at MPT Expo

Baotou Museum's culture exhibition area was awarded the Silver Prize for Best Display at the 10th Chinese Exposition of Museums Relevant Products and Technologies by the expo's organizing committee on Aug 26.

The expo took place in Hohhot from Aug 23 to 26, with over 300 museums from across China participating.

Baotou Museum's booth featured over 10 theme displays, including cultural and creative products, intangible cultural heritage works, and specialty cuisine.

Attendees unanimously praised attractions such as delicate ice creams in the shape of crafted blue and white porcelain tanks and bread and cakes featuring deer rock art patterns.

Exhibits such as Great Wall-themed metal bookmarks and yak ornaments carved from rock showcased Baotou's unique cultural identity.

Baotou Museum's booth received approximately 290,000 visits over the course of the event. This not only highlighted the diverse range of cultural and creative products and unique cultural services but also contributed to strengthening the museum's capacity to preserve cultural heritages.
