Masataka Minemura, chairman of the board of Fuji Oil (China) Investment Co Ltd, has been instrumental in helping numerous Japanese brands thrive in Shanghai. At 62, he has spent 25 years of his career in China, with 15 of those years living and working in Shanghai, which he now considers his "second home".

"Shanghai offers many favorable policies for foreign businesses, with a friendly business environment and a convenient lifestyle. Safety and healthcare are well-secured, making it easy for foreigners to live and work here," Minemura said. What he finds most satisfying is the concentration of top talent from across the country, enabling foreign companies to easily recruit the employees they need.

Minemura is particularly focused on the issue of aging and is keen to see more policies and measures from China to deepen reform. Watch the video to see how he decodes China's key to success.
