The Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District (CBD) is set to unveil three new transportation lines by year's end, promising faster travel across Shanghai and neighboring provinces.
The upcoming additions include a transit line linking the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and the Shanghai Pudong International Airport, the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-Speed Railway, and the Xicen Station of Metro Line 17. These developments aim to enhance connectivity and streamline commuting within the city.
The airport link line will undergo a trial run on Sept 1, while the high-speed railway is in its final testing phase. Metro Line 17's Xicen Station is nearing completion, with equipment testing now underway.
In addition, expansion projects for Metro Line 13 and the Jiading-Minhang Line are making progress.
