Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Yuz Museum in the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District presents "Out of Silence", an exhibition featuring over 20 sets of contemporary artworks. These pieces, from both Chinese and international artists, explore the theme of sound through subtle cues, highlighting overlooked spaces of silence.

The selected artworks from the Yuz Foundation's collection reveal the hidden forces and energies within seemingly silent creations. They intertwine individual life journeys with various historical, cultural, and social contexts, creating rich dimensions of thought and spiritual spaces.

The exhibition, which runs from Aug 10 to March 2, 2025, invites visitors to "hear thunder in silence", and experience the vibrant vitality and vigor within the artworks. It reflects the Yuz Museum's unique blend of rational construction and emotional understanding.

In May, the museum celebrated its anniversary with a pixel art retrospective, revisiting iconic exhibits from its history. The current exhibition continues this tradition by showcasing site-specific practices and large-scale commissioned works tailored for the Yuz Museum. Additionally, several groundbreaking works will make their debuts, marking a significant milestone in the museum's journey.
