Wu Chenxi, a student from Hainan Tropical Ocean University in Sanya, has been serving as a volunteer since the opening of the Paris Olympics over two weeks ago.

At about 4:00 every morning, she gets up and hurries to the subway station. "It only takes me 25 minutes from where I live to reach the Paris Olympic Village," Wu shared.

Reflecting on her role as an Olympic volunteer, she recounted her daily routine: upon arriving at the Olympic Village, her first task was to attend the volunteer morning meeting at about 6:00. As a traffic coordinator, the morning meeting involved reviewing issues from the previous night, outlining the day's main tasks, and highlighting key bus departures.

Wu emphasized that assisting Chinese athletes and coaches, ensuring they receive the bus schedules early, planning their departure times effectively, and guaranteeing that their training and competitions run smoothly, is something she excels at.

"The task is simple, but it requires a great deal of attention and patience."

During her time at the Olympic Village, Wu has also received many pleasant surprises. "I have received meaningful badges, bracelets, and other small gifts from athletes from over twenty different countries and regions. Each small gift carries a special story, and every story is worth remembering."
