The flower-shaped lanterns feature a central bouquet of over 50 flowers that glitter and spiral upwards. These flower lanterns are shaped like Chinese roses and camellia flowers, the city flowers of Qingdao.
"The flower basket lantern has been a symbol of the festival since 2021. The design makes a breakthrough by using diamond mesh to make it more crystal, demonstrating traditional handcraft with modern technology," said a local official.
