The Tianjin Museum is showcasing over 80 works by Zhang Daqian (1899-1983) and his mentors and friends. From expressive ink paintings to vibrant gongbi (meticulous brushwork) pieces, and even bold splashed ink and color artworks, this exhibition offers a unique glimpse into the extraordinary artistic world of Zhang Daqian, often hailed as the greatest artist of the past 500 years.
