Sketching the Spirit: An Exhibition of Figure Paintings from the Zhenjiang Museum has been unveiled at the Jilin Provincial Museum. This extraordinary exhibition features the works of celebrated artists from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to modern times, including Huang Shen (1687-1772), one of the “Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou”, Ren Bonian (1840-96), Zhang Daqian (1899-1983), Lyu Fengzi (1886-1959) and Gai Qi (1773-1828).
