Zheng Xie (1693-1766), also known as Zheng Banqiao, stood as a preeminent figure in the Chinese art sphere during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). He was also acclaimed as the most influential artist among the “Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou”.

As this year coincides with the 330th anniversary of Zheng’s birth, the Yangzhou Museum launched a special exhibition on Nov 21, comprehensively presenting his life experiences, achievements in poetry, calligraphy and painting, and his moral virtues through more than 100 cultural relics. Embark on an artistic journey until Feb 21, 2024!
