The Tianjin Museum has just opened its first original painting exhibition of 2024 – The Art of Zhang Daqian and Da Feng Tang.
Zhang Daqian (1899-1983), one of the most legendary Chinese painting masters of the 20th century, along with his brother Zhang Shanzi (1882-1940), founded the “Da Feng Tang” in Shanghai in the 1920s, where they taught and nurtured many disciples who went on to become renowned artists in China in the 20th century.
Come to the Tianjin Museum to explore the diverse painting styles of Zhang Daqian and delve into the origins of his artistic journey!
