The inauguration ceremony for the dual flights from Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and to Osaka in Japan took place at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport on July 1.
The two routes will not only provide passengers with more convenient travel options but also inject new momentum into tourism development, economic cooperation, and cultural exchanges between Xi'an and Osaka and between Xi'an and Ho Chi Minh.
The Xi'an to Ho Chi Minh route opened on July 1, operated by VietJet Air.
According to the flight schedule, flight VJ3933 from Xi'an to Ho Chi Minh departs from Xi'an every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, departing at 2:30 am and arriving in Ho Chi Minh at 6:35 am.
Return flight VJ3932 departs from Ho Chi Minh every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday at 8:05 pm and arrives in Xi'an at 1:30 am the following day.
The Xi'an to Osaka route will commence on July 5, operated daily by Spring Airlines. Outbound flight 9C6985 departs from Xi'an Xianyang International Airport at 8 am and arrives in Osaka at 12:40 pm. Return flight 9C6986 departs from Osaka at 1:40 pm and returns to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport at 4:55 pm.
With the official opening of these two flights, Xi'an Xianyang International Airport will provide passengers with more convenient and comfortable travel experiences and help integrate northwestern China into the global aviation network.
