On June 20, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Seminar on Digital Technology for Promoting Green and Low-Carbon Transformation was held in Guilin, Guangxi.
Approximately 180 people from APEC economies such as Chile, Hong Kong (China), Malaysia, Peru, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, government departments, enterprises, research institutions, universities, international organizations, and media representatives attended the conference.
In recent years, Guangxi has accelerated the construction of "Digital Guangxi", strengthened digital infrastructure, improved the efficiency of digital government, expanded cooperation in the digital field, increased the scale of the digital economy, and achieved promising results in the coordinated transformation of digitalization and green development.
Moving forward, Guangxi will promote the extension of the Digital Silk Road from China to ASEAN and the Asia-Pacific region, implement the United Nations' 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, and contribute to the "dual carbon goals."
