Suzhou hosts training session for overseas business

The Suzhou Bureau of Commerce and Suzhou Foreign Affairs Office held a training session focused on consular protection and overseas security on June 21.

The session covered consular protection laws, international situation analysis, overseas corporate security practices, and risk management for expatriates. It aimed to enhance businesses' understanding of legal and safety risks abroad.

The Suzhou Bureau of Commerce highlighted the increasing geopolitical risks and emphasized the need to improve national security awareness in the business sector. The Suzhou Foreign Affairs Office expressed hopes that the training would help local enterprises strengthen their legal awareness and risk prevention capabilities when operating overseas.

Suzhou has been integrating into the Belt and Road Initiative, achieving significant results in foreign investment and economic cooperation. The training aims to support local businesses in expanding internationally by providing policy guidance, risk warnings, and security training.
