The Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently unveiled the national list of outstanding cases for the advancement of cultural and tourism equipment technology in 2024.

The "Cloud-Based Ice and Snow Resort Lighting Control System" submitted by Harbin Ice and Snow World Co made the list.

This system utilizes cloud platform servers to manage multiple high real-time wireless intelligent gateways, enabling real-time on-demand and coordinated control of landscape lighting in the extremely cold ice and snow park via computer terminals or mobile apps.

Implemented at the 25th Harbin Ice and Snow World, this system is a groundbreaking application in large outdoor ice and snow parks during harsh winter conditions, ensuring precise synchronization of lighting effects – something that has never been done before anywhere in the world.

Not only does the system allow for precise synchronization control, it also boasts significant advantages in terms of reliability, equipment costs, and installation convenience under extremely cold conditions.

During the 25th Harbin Ice and Snow World operation, the lighting control system facilitated innovative synchronized lighting effects for the park's eight dragon-shaped ice surfaces and main tower.

The interconnected ice surfaces formed a dragon-shaped ribbon, with the overall effect transitioning from flat ice lighting to three-dimensional tower lighting, showcasing themes like glaciers, flames, lilacs, and colorful displays.

The system's application has enhanced the installation efficiency and reliability of ice and snow park lighting control equipment, promoting the widespread adoption of smart concepts like "Ice and Snow + Digital" and "Ice and Snow + 5G" in ice and snow tourism projects.
