Datong hosts rural entrepreneurship, innovation competition

Datong city witnessed a dynamic start to the sixth "China Chuangyi" Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition Shanxi Selection and the 11th Xinghuo Project Entrepreneurship Competition Preliminary – focusing on rural vitalization.

The event marks Datong's solid progress in promoting rural vitalization and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

The ongoing competition aims to create a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship, gather ideas and to strengthen rural vitalization.

It embodies strategies like innovation-driven development, as well as a focus on employment and talent empowerment, which are in line with the rural vitalization strategy.

The launch featured great promotional videos, setting an enthusiastic tone for innovation and entrepreneurship. The competition has attracted 326 high-quality projects – a record number – showcasing Datong's momentum in this field.

Top judges will evaluate projects rigorously – ensuring fairness and selecting winners to advance to the provincial level. Pre-competition training and roadshows have also enhanced the skills of the participants.

The rural vitalization strategy offers a new path for entrepreneurs, merging personal ideals with rural development. It is said to inject vitality into rural areas and contribute to their modernization.
