Newly-opened high-speed trains link Zibo to major cities in Shandong

On June 15, the national railway network implemented a new train operation plan for the third quarter of this year. This new plan further optimizes and increases the frequency of trains on the Jinan-Qingdao high-speed railway, introducing the Jinan-Qingdao Express train service, new ticket products and more convenient travel services.

The number of high-speed trains running between Jinan East Railway Station and Qingdao North Railway Station on the Jinan-Qingdao high-speed railway has increased to 74 trains, seven more than the previous schedule, with trains running approximately every 15 minutes between the two cities.

To further enhance the travel experience for passengers between Jinan and Qingdao, the railway department has designed and introduced 34 sets of Jinan-Qingdao Express high-speed train services characterized by optimal time slots, high speeds, and shorter travel times.

The newly opened stations include Jinan East, Jinan West, Jinan, Zhangqiu North, Zouping, Zibo North, Linzi North, Qingzhou North, Weifang North, Gaomi North, Jiaozhou North, Qingdao Airport, Hongdao, Qingdao North, and Qingdao, totaling 15 stations.
