A freight train loaded with Russian kraft paper recently departed from Xi'an Guogang Railway Station and was bound for Qingdao, where it was transferred to a boat and shipped to the Philippines.

This marked the maiden journey of the China-Europe freight train (Novokuznetsk-Xi'an-Manila) route and the first utilization of the bonded international transit supervision model at Xi'an Port.

Through the bonded international transit supervision model at Xi'an Port, the entire process is customs clearance-free, enhancing the efficiency of goods transit clearance and eliminating various logistical costs associated with traditional cargo transfers.

As one of the operators of the China-Europe freight train (Xi'an), Xi'an Free Trade Port Development and Operation Co collaborated with relevant departments at Qingdao Port to introduce this new route, jointly developing a comprehensive service solution for transit through Xi'an and final delivery to the Philippines.

"We will expand operations to handle larger cargo volumes and develop more routes, continuously providing customers with high-quality international transit services," said an employee of Xi'an Free Trade Port Development and Operation Co.
