Sanya college selected as national high-skilled talent training base

Sanya Aviation and Tourism College was recently selected as a national high-skilled talent training base by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and Ministry of Finance.

The training base focuses on five categories, including civil aircraft mechanical maintainer, security inspector, passenger ship pilot, tea art specialist, and electrician.

Established on April 25, 2005, the college is a prominent institution in Hainan province. In March of this year, HNA Group acquired 100 percent of the college for 790 million yuan ($109 million), reintegrating it into the HNA Group.

To support the Hainan Free Trade Port’s development, Sanya Aviation and Tourism College will establish three specialized clusters focused on aviation, navigation, and tourism, aligning closely with Hainan's industrial structure.
