Sanya makes foreign exchange easy for everyone

To facilitate the work, study, and travel of foreign nationals, 60 banking outlets, 57 foreign currency exchange points, and two authorized foreign currency exchange institutions in Sanya are now allowed to carry out foreign exchange settlement and sales.

The measure provides personal foreign exchange services covering all hotels, neighborhoods, and airports in the city.

According to a work program launched earlier this year, Sanya is set to support authorized exchange institutions in establishing tourism financial service counters at the Sanya Phoenix International Airport, offering currency settlement services for currencies like the Malaysian ringgit, Philippine peso, and Indonesian rupiah.

"It's very convenient to handle business here due to the easy communication and simple process on the mobile banking app," said Murodjon Radjabov, an expat in Sanya, when he went to the Bank of China's Sanya Branch to collect Western Union money.
