On May 21, the Guiyang bureau of commerce and Zhucheng customs recognized Kweichou Moutai Import and Export Co as an authorized economic operator (AEO). It is the seventh company in Guiyang and the ninth in Guizhou province to receive the recognition.

The AEO system is a core system within the World Customs Organization's Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade, under which customs authorities certify companies based on their credit status, compliance level, and security standards.

Certified companies achieve the highest credit rating from customs and enjoy 45 facilitation measures across nine categories provided by China Customs. These measures include priority for expedited customs clearance, priority for port inspections, reduced audit frequency, and lower cargo inspection rates, effectively increasing clearance speed and reducing foreign trade costs for enterprises.

Additionally, AEO-certified companies benefit from facilitation measures in 54 countries and regions that currently have mutual recognition agreements.

On the same day, Guiyang and Zucheng customs, Guiyang bureau of taxation, and local banks interpreted relevant policies on AEO recognition, the business environment at Guiyang Port, tax rebate procedures, and related financial products and services on foreign trade.
