The Mawangdui Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220) tombs are among the most significant archaeological finds of the 20th century in China and the world. Besides the unearthed well-preserved Lady Xinzhui’s wet mummy, the site revealed an array of exquisite painted lacquerware, silk fabrics and silk paintings, which are now on display at the Dongguan Museum in Guangdong.
