National testing center for energy storage products established in WND

Recently, the National Center of Inspection and Testing on Advanced Energy Storage Products Quality (Jiangsu), initiated by the Wuxi Institute of Inspection, Testing and Certification, received approval from the State Administration for Market Regulation and has been established in Wuxi New District.

The center is qualified to test all products involved in electrochemical energy storage systems, including raw materials, lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion cells, modules, and battery packs. It also features a testing platform for hydrogen fuel cells.

Committed to expanding international mutual recognition, the center has established comprehensive partnerships with 14 internationally renowned certification bodies. For example, it has co-founded a one-stop inspection, testing, and certification service platform for automotive power batteries with the Canadian Standards Association.

The joint laboratory by the center and SGS has been recognized as a CB testing laboratory by the IEC System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components (IECEE), allowing Wuxi enterprises to obtain global market access more easily.
