A group of international students studying at the Zibo Vocational Institute embarked on a trip to Zhoucun village in Zibo, Shandong province recently to explore and experience Zhoucun village's rich cultural deposits and unique products.
The foreign visitors visited the Zhouchun Pancake Exhibition Hall, the vegetarian fast-food restaurant Yibaisui operated by the leading global industrial enterprise Shandong Head Group, and the century-old brand Yishengyong's modern tea house, known as the Zhiyin Tea House.
At the Zhouchun Pancake Museum, the international students learned about the preservation and development of Zhouchun pancakes over the past hundred years, tasted the thin, fragrant, crispy, and crunchy snacks, and experienced their unique and rich cultural charm.
At Yibaisui, after tasting the restaurant's vegetarian meat products, one of the students commented that they were "no different from meat, delicious and healthy". They tasted the sweet and sour vinegar-flavored drink and partook in an event where they threw embroidered balls like in ancient times. At Zhiyin Tea House in Zhoucun village, they savored the strong aroma of the tea, experienced Chinese tea culture, and enjoyed a secluded and peaceful atmosphere.
The event allowed international students to personally experience the rich humanistic atmosphere and hospitality of Zhouchun Ancient Village's streets and the unique products of Zhouchun village.
