As spring transitions to summer, the Baoying Lake National Wetland Park in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, has drawn numerous egrets in search of place to breed.

Within the park's nearly 3,500 mu of native metasequoia forest, a single metasequoia tree standing over 30 meters tall hosts more than 10 egret nests, serving as a bustling breeding ground for these avian inhabitants.
