Sanya's Yucai Ecological Zone welcomes new bilingual school

The project of Sanya Mingde Bilingual School in the Yucai Ecological Zone in Sanya started construction on April 29, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of Sanya's economy and society.

The Sanya Mingde Bilingual School, a venture of the Qingdao Qide Future Education Group, is built with a total construction area of 89,029.23 square meters. The facility includes teaching buildings, comfortable dormitories, well-equipped gymnasiums, spacious cafeterias, versatile comprehensive buildings, and modern teacher apartments, ensuring a conducive environment for learning and growth.

The total investment for this project is 700 million yuan ($97 million), with plans to be completed by 2025 and open for students in 2026, accommodating approximately 1,350 students.

Upon its completion, the Sanya Mingde Bilingual School will be a beacon of educational excellence in the Yucai Ecological Zone. It is expected to be the first international bilingual school in the area and the first full-time boarding senior high school, effectively bridging the gap in high school education resources. This step will contribute to the formation of an educational layout of "one zone, one prestigious school" in Sanya.

Currently, Hainan is leading the way in international education innovation island construction and has made significant progress in promoting high-quality and open development in education.

Xie Tongbin, president of Qingdao Qide Future Education Group, mentioned that the group would introduce high-quality educational resources from home and abroad, aiming to establish Sanya Mingde Bilingual School as a high-end educational brand school, contributing to the educational reform and opening up the trial field in Hainan Free Trade Port construction and setting a new benchmark for educational open development.
