Suzhou's top enterprises achieve sales of 1.33b yuan during holiday

During the May Day holiday, Suzhou launched a series of consumption promotion activities in conjunction with the "Shanghai Shopping Festival," creating a vibrant atmosphere for consumption.

According to the Suzhou Bureau of Commerce, Suzhou's top 100 key commercial enterprises are estimated to achieve sales of 1.33 billion yuan ($184.09 million) from May 1 to 5, representing a 10.7 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

With various promotional activities and discounts during the holiday period and the "Shanghai Shopping Festival," the city witnessed a fervent and enthusiastic consumption environment, fully unleashing the potential of consumer spending and fostering a prosperous and active holiday consumption market.
