Ningbo resumes direct flights to and from Bangkok

As the summer-autumn flight season arrives, Ningbo Lishe International Airport has announced the resumption of its international passenger route to Bangkok, Thailand, starting from April 2.

The reinstated route will operate between Ningbo Lishe International Airport and Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport, with flights operated by the domestic budget carrier Spring Airlines on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Flight 9C7431 will depart from Ningbo at 12:10 pm and arrive in Bangkok at 3:15 pm, with the return journey, Flight 9C7432, leaving Bangkok at 3:55 pm and arriving in Ningbo at 7:45 pm. The one-way flight time from Ningbo to Bangkok is approximately 4 hours, with all times mentioned in local time.

During the initial period of operation, the one-way fare for the Ningbo to Bangkok route will be 500 yuan ($69.11), with a total price including taxes and fees at 870 yuan. Additionally, the official Spring Airlines website is offering special fares for late May, with prices as low as 100 yuan and a total price including taxes at 470 yuan.

With the mutual visa exemption agreement between China and Thailand for ordinary passport holders officially taking effect from March 1, domestic travelers now only need a passport to book their flights, making a spontaneous trip to Thailand a reality.

The revival of this route is expected to provide Ningbo travelers with a convenient new option for travel during the upcoming Tomb Sweeping Day holiday and the May Day holiday.

Additionally, beginning in May, Thai Lion Air plans to resume its flights between Ningbo and Bangkok, initially operating four flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This will mean a maximum of two flights per day from Ningbo to Bangkok, making Bangkok the most popular international travel destination from Ningbo on a daily basis.
