The office spans an area of nearly 14,000 square meters, offering around 1,600 workstations. It is designed to serve as a central hub for KPMG's operations, facilitating collaboration across the nation and fostering the development of professional and innovative international talent.

This strategic move aligns with KPMG China's regional development strategy to strengthen its presence in Shanghai and leverage the city's unparalleled connectivity and business-friendly environment. The choice of Hongqiao International Central Business District for its new office underscores the area's exceptional transport links and its growing importance as a commercial and financial nexus in the Yangtze River Delta.

Yang Jie, vice-chairman of KPMG China, emphasized the strategic significance of the new location. "Greater Hongqiao is not just Shanghai's nexus but a pivotal gateway connecting China with the world. This aligns perfectly with our vision of local grounding with a global outlook. The unmatched transportation infrastructure and supportive local policies make it an ideal place for KPMG to grow and thrive."

As KPMG China prepares to open the doors to its KAMPUS office, it has reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to the high-quality development of Shanghai and supporting the business endeavors of both domestic and international clients. This move marks a new chapter in KPMG's journey, reinforcing its position as a global leader in professional services.
