He Hui, an internationally acclaimed soprano, stands as the sole Chinese vocalist to grace the stages of the world's top six opera houses. She is also the only Chinese artist to take on the leading role at Italy's La Scala. Debuting at the Shanghai Grand Theatre in 1998 with the opera Aida, she secured second place at the 2000 Plácido Domingo's Operalia. He Hui won the first prize at the Voci Verdiane in Busseto in 2002, and was recognized among the world's top 10 female singers by the authoritative opera magazine "Opera Actual" from 2014–2015.
He Hui’s international accolades include the inaugural International Opera Oscar Award (2010), Luigi lllica Award (2011), Marcella Pobbe Award (2015), and Angelo Loforese Award (2018), among others.
