Datong introduces partner to develop blockchain network

The Datong municipal government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the National Center of Technological Innovation for Blockchain on Feb 27, initiating the construction of a national-level blockchain network node in Datong. 

Lu Dongliang, Party secretary of Datong, presented an overview of Datong's digital economic development. He expressed hope that the center will intensify its efforts in digital infrastructure and technological innovation, gathering high-quality industry resources and innovative elements to help Datong become a hub of the national digital economic network system. 

Dong Jin, director of the center, stated that the center will utilize cutting-edge blockchain technology to support Datong's government services, green energy traceability, digital culture and tourism, aiming to facilitate the high-quality development of Datong's digital economy through mutually beneficial outcomes. 

According to the agreement, both sides will collaborate on core technological innovation, the development of application scenarios, talent cultivation, and the construction of industrial systems. Leveraging the development of the national-level blockchain network node in Datong, they aim to promote the establishment of a Datong model for digital technological innovation.
