Zibo bridges cultures during Chinese New Year celebration

In a vibrant celebration of Chinese New Year, Zibo welcomed international students to immerse themselves in local traditions. Organized jointly by the local government and Shandong Agricultural Engineering College, the 10th edition of Zibo International Salon successfully unfolded on Feb 2.

The bustling New Year market in Xiye Street echoed with joyous drumbeats and a bustling crowd, offering a glimpse into the quintessential Chinese New Year atmosphere. Amidst the ancient kiln clusters of Yanshen Ancient Town, international students observed craftsmen skillfully firing glass, tracing the millennium-old legacy.

Venturing further into the realm of glass art, students explored the local colored glaze museum, delving into the historical and cultural evolution while marveling at exquisite artifacts.
