In celebration of the upcoming Year of the Dragon, a long-table feast was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province on Feb 5.
The feast was held at Nantang Old Street, a scenic area in the city's Haishu district. The table stretched about 100 meters and included 36 varieties of specialty food from 10 districts and counties across Ningbo, including Red Beauty fruits from Xiangshan, waxberries from Cixi, and tofu dishes from Ninghai.
Miniature models of the city's landmarks, such as Tianfeng Tower and Drum Tower, were also displayed on the table.
"It's a great opportunity for us to get into the holiday spirit," said a resident surnamed Zhu.
"I haven't had a feast like this for a long time. It reminds me of the village feasts that gathered neighbors together when I was a child," said a resident surnamed He, "It made me think of the traditional Chinese New Year celebrations.”
