Hohhot two sessions conclude

The 14th Hohhot Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) successfully concluded its third plenary on Jan 19, while the 16th People's Congress of Hohhot concluded its third plenary on Jan 20.

Both events took place at the Inner Mongolia People's Hall in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Over the last few days, committee members focused on discussing central tasks, fulfilled their duties, offered suggestions, and contributed wisdom and strength to the comprehensive development of Hohhot.

The conference was supposed to have 327 members, and 308 members attended, meeting the required numbers.

The closing meeting of the 16th People's Congress of Hohhot was supposed to have 342 representatives, and 327 were present, meeting the statutory number.

During the meeting, resolutions were passed, including the government work report of the 16th People's Congress of Hohhot, the results of the 2023 national economic and social development plan for Hohhot, and the 2024 national economic and social development plan.
