Yantai wine region triumphs at Golden Prestige Awards

The Yantai wine region was honored as the "Best Chinese Wine Region of the Year" at the esteemed Golden Prestige Awards, which celebrate excellence in the Chinese wine and spirits sector. 

The recognition underscores Yantai's growing significance in the wine industry both within China and around the world.

The Golden Prestige Awards are renowned for impartially and professionally acknowledging outstanding contributions to the Chinese wine and spirits industry - highlighting market expansion, product diversity, brand strength, and media recognition and elevating winners to international acclaim.

At the awards ceremony, the Yantai wine region also secured accolades for "Sustainable Wine Brand of the Year" and "Female Pioneer in the Wine Industry", showcasing its advancements in sustainable practices and gender diversity in leadership as well as reflecting its dedication to innovation and excellence in the wine industry.

Chi Wanti, deputy director of Yantai's Grape and Wine Industry Development Service Center, emphasized the region's rapid progress, including leadership in geographical indication wine lists, a strong presence on national social media, and active participation in major industry events. He extended a warm invitation to global industry players to visit and collaborate with Yantai, highlighting its growing international partnerships.
