A smart manufacturing training lab was unveiled in Wuxi's Xinwu district on Jan 9 by Wuxi iSoftStone Digital Talent Base and the Fraunhofer Project Center for Smart Manufacturing in Shanghai.
Equipped with the same cutting-edge facilities as in manufacturing companies, the lab features a real-time digital twin system and enables human-machine collaboration. During training sessions, participants will better understand the principles of manufacturing equipment and testing instruments.
Backed by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the renowned German research institution, Fraunhofer IPA, the Fraunhofer Project Center for Smart Manufacturing in Shanghai has maintained long-term cooperation with manufacturing enterprises. This partnership with iSoftStone Wuxi aims to establish a comprehensive industry-academic-research integration hub and extend cooperation in internships, employment, technology transfer, and industrial services.
