New science popularization pavilion in Jinan opens

The science popularization pavilion of the Jinan Botanical Garden was officially opened to the public on Dec 29, 2023.

Located in the central area of the botanical garden, the pavilion covers an area of 6,888 square meters, and consists of an indoor science popularization exhibition hall and a subtropical greenhouse.The pavilion simulates the environment of a subtropical greenhouse and has over 600 species of tropical and subtropical plants.

The opening of the science popularization pavilion will further enhance the scientific research and popularization capabilities of the Jinan Botanical Garden. It will also provide a destination for natural science education and botanical science popularization research for young people.
