The Shang (c.16th century-11th century BC) and Zhou (c.11th century-256 BC) dynasties are foundational eras in Chinese civilization. The Tianjin Museum, proudly housing an extensive collection of artifacts from the two periods, launched on Dec 30 an exclusive exhibition featuring more than 150 pieces from those periods, including oracle bones, bronze ware, jade ware, seals, coins, and pottery.

It marks the most extensive display of the Shang and Zhou artifacts from the museum’s collection since its inception, and offers a remarkable insight into this pivotal phase of ancient Chinese history. Don’t miss out!
