The ritual and music civilization established during the Xia (c.21st century-16th century BC), Shang (c.16th century-11th century BC) and Zhou (c.11th century-256 BC) dynasties has influenced numerous political ideologies and social ethics in subsequent eras of China.

Henan, located in the Central Plain of China, stands as a vital birthplace of traditional Chinese culture. The Dalian Museum in Liaoning province unveiled an exhibition on Nov 21, shedding light on the splendid civilizations from the three dynasties with cultural relics recently unearthed from archaeological sites in Henan.
