GYMD partners with Malaysian firms on digitalization

GYMD Digital Technology (GYMD) signed a strategic contract with ALTEL Group Sdn Bhd (AGSB) to facilitate the comprehensive industrial digitalization for three groups in Malaysia: DRB-HICOM Berhad (DRB-HICOM), MMC Corporation Berhad (MMC Group), and TradeWinds Group (M) Sdn Bhd (TGM).

GYMD is a technologies and services provider that specializes in industrial digitalization. Its Geega industrial internet platform was listed as a pilot demonstration project by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Leveraging its integral digital infrastructure and industrial software, the company helps other enterprises achieve sustainability and profit optimization through various dimensions, such as operation, management, quality and costs, and energy and emissions.

The three groups are leading players in Malaysia and actively respond to the National Policy on Industry 4.0.

DRB-HICOM is a conglomerate that engages in the automotive, aerospace, post, and bank sectors. MMC Group is a utilities and infrastructure group with diversified businesses under four divisions, including ports and logistics, energy and utilities, engineering, and industrial development. TGM group engages in oil palm and rubber plantations, logistics, ports, telecommunications, broadcasts, and intelligent solutions.

The three groups will grant GYMD full access to their application scenarios. Their enriched scenarios and resources across industries will combine with the advanced technologies of GYMD. The cooperation is expected to provide new industrialization technologies and comprehensive solutions based on digital capability matrix and systematic self-developed industrial software of GYMD.

A specialized team has been formed by the two sides to carry out the cooperation. The team will focus on particular application scenarios and provide tailored solutions and technologies, said Wang Xiaohu, CEO of GYMD.

The cooperation enables GYMD to apply its achievements and experience in new industrialization to an extensive range of industries in Southeast Asia. It also allows GYMD to provide the market with overall digitalization layouts as well as solutions based on its self-developed industrial software. Next, the company aims to further explore the Southeast Asian market and promote global Industry 4.0 development with its digitalization services.
