The whole beauty of Jiangnan, the southern region along the Yangtze River's lower reaches, lies in not only its picturesque landscape and unique civil buildings, featuring white walls and gray roofs, which deliver a poetic mood of serenity. But also, the lingering charm of Jiangnan is composed of a variety of arts and crafts that have been preserved by devoted professionals in the field.

Chinese Traditional Culture Museum boasts a program to present demonstrations and performances introducing the diversity of cultural heritage across the country. Its latest endeavor, Meet Jiangnan Again, came to an end following monthlong activities over the weekends that focus on Suzhou, one of the many booming centers of the Jiangnan region.

On every weekend from Nov 18 to Dec 12, it staged performances including the Kunqu Opera and flute playing, and demonstrations of handicrafts such as the Su embroidery and Taohuawu woodblock making, unveiling a lively landscape of the history and cultural depth of Suzhou.
