Haimen makes efforts to strengthen sci-tech innovation

Over the past three years, Haimen district in Nantong, Jiangsu province has been making efforts to create a conducive environment for high-tech enterprises to pursue innovation.
Authorities are acting as a bridge connecting high-tech enterprises and universities and research institutes, with more than 100 university and enterprise cooperation projects launched in the district in 2023.
The local government also rolled out 30 measures to provide financial support to high-tech enterprises, with subsidies of more than 100 million yuan ($14.07 million) given to 500 companies over the past three years.
In addition, authorities have been focusing on improving the financial service system, including facilitating bank-enterprise collaboration, and 418 companies have submitted applications for concessional loans.
