The Harbin Ice and Snow World in Harbin, the capital city of China's northernmost Heilongjiang province, is now nearing completion.

Since ground was first broken on the project on Nov 23, nearly 10,000 construction workers have been toiling away around the clock, with thousands of pieces of machinery constantly in motion.

As of Dec 12, 12 of the 14 lanes on the Ice Slide at the winter amusement park, a star attraction during the winter season, have been completed.

This year's Ice Slide, due to its scientific design and meticulous construction, features the longest slide compared with the previous years, measuring 521 meters.

Along with the Snowflake Ferris Wheel, they will become the two major "romantic-themed" must-visit attractions of Harbin Ice and Snow World this winter.

Meanwhile, the second-tallest ice construction landscape in the park, "Building Dreams with an Icy Heart," was completed on Dec 11.

The Fairy Tale Kingdom and Cross-Castle have also been completed. Construction of other ice and snow landscapes is steadily progressing.

Additionally, Harbin Ice and Snow World has collaborated deeply this year with Chinese streaming platform Youku and Perfect World, an animation adapted from a popular Eastern fantasy novel of the same name, presenting classic and popular scenes and characters in the form of snow sculptures for visitors to enjoy and capture on camera.

All of the themed snow sculpture landscapes at the park are now under construction.
