Hefei high-tech zone uses online jobs fair for recruiting drive

The Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone – located in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – hosted an online jobs fair on Dec 8.

This connected job seekers with companies in the aerospace sector. The event aimed to provide a platform for companies to showcase their job opportunities and for job seekers to explore potential career paths.

A diverse range of businesses participated in the fair, including technology firms, start-ups and research institutions.

They offered some 380 positions, ranging from software development and engineering posts to marketing and finance roles. The event also featured opportunities in such fields as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and renewable energy.

The online jobs fair utilized innovative technology to create a streamlined experience for participants. Job seekers had access to virtual booths where they could interact with recruiters, submit resumes and attend live presentations.

The platform also offered advice and information resources, such as tips for job interviews and career development workshops.

In the current year, the Hefei high-tech zone has organized nearly 500 online and offline recruitment activities, received some 110,000 resumes and hired 53,800 staff. That's taken the total workforce in the zone to 535,800.
