The 45-day-long International Friends Cultural Week in Wuxi culminated with a closing ceremony held in the Wuxi National Hi-tech District on Nov 25.

Bai Suning, president of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, highlighted the event's four-year legacy since its inception in 2020. The annual event has engaged various art groups and universities, fostering a cultural exchange that aims to immerse foreigners in Chinese culture, said Bai.

The Jiangnan University International Talent Education Base, aimed at exploring a cooperation model for international student education and developing a talent pool to support industrial growth, was unveiled during the ceremony.

Additionally, a base dedicated to teaching international students about Chinese culture and development was also inaugurated by Jiangnan University and the people's association for friendship with foreign countries of the Wuxi National Hi-tech District.
