Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province proposed to become a city of delicacies and shopping this year and in November chefs from Wuxi and Hong Kong did their part by offering a 15-day gluttonous feast in Hong Kong.

Seven renowned local Chinese restaurants jointly hosted a Wuxi-Hong Kong Food Festival during that period.

Chefs from Wuxi Juna Hotels Group and Hong Kong LUBUDS F&B Group cooked dishes with both Jiangnan and Hong Kong flavor and the first 18 Wuxi dishes allowed tasters to have a firsthand experience of the city's culinary culture.

The Wuxi dishes included roasted white fish with scallions, braised spare ribs in brown sauce, crab meat, shredded tofu shaped as a blooming chrysanthemum, and Wuxi steamed buns stuffed with crab meat.
