Wuxi Smart Memories Technologies Co Ltd, a leading chip design company with cutting-edge storage technology headquartered in the Wuxi New District, Jiangsu province, earned a spot on the KPMG China Chiptech 50 list, which was released during the just-concluded sixth China International Import Expo in Shanghai.

KPMG, a multinational professional services firm, has made the list for four consecutive years. By evaluating Chinese enterprises specializing in sectors such as communication terminals and networks, sensing systems, internet of things, and semiconductor materials and equipment, the ranking aims to support local chip companies in their innovative development.

Wuxi Smart Memories Technologies is China's first supplier of ferroelectric memory. It boasts four utility model patents and has applied for more than 90 invention patents. The company has set up a design center in the United States' Bay Area and a materials research and development center in Shanghai.
